    Hi, 4 Fd Sqn RE also carried out an Op Descant (Engineer) tour of Northern Ireland in 1989 from April to August.

    The Dates for the 1st Gulf War deployment were October 1990 to March 1991 serving under direct command and in support of 7th Armoured Brigade

    From Dec. 81to April. 82 we were also in South Armagh at Castle Dillon with troops at Bessbrook, Forkill and Crossmaglen. I was therir REME Support.
