CINEMAS / KINO

Of course the soldiers of the English troops also had leisure in Hameln. A popular way of life was to go to a cinema as well as to see the latest filmproductions. Shortly after the war, the cinema “Schauburg” served on the “Deisterstraße” in Hameln as a Cinema for the British Forces. Until then a new Cinema was built directly at the site of the Gordon Barracks. There will certainly be some report to follow on this topic!
