    The officer commanding in 1968/9 1970? Was major bond I think he was posted to RIpon England in 1970

    In 1965 the RASC were re-badged and became the RCT. Consequently 10 Coy RASC was re-numbered as 40 Sqn RCT.In the transition 35 Coy RASC retained its old number and became 35 Sqn RCT. Originally known as 26 Transport Column RASC this became 26 Regiment RCT.
