71 Amph Engr Sp Sqn on Berlin Exercise
July 1991 – the young, new, united Germany had only existed for a few years when the Royal Amphibious Engineers made their way to Berlin. It was the very first exercise of the 28 Amphibious Engineer Regiment / 71 Amphibious Engineer Support Squadron in Berlin. The “BERLIN BULLETIN” reported on this demonstration exercise on July 12, 1991. I am curious to see if anyone remembers it and perhaps has more pictures and information about it.

Juli 1991 – das junge neue, vereinigte Deutschland existierte erst wenige Jahre als die Royal Amphibious Engineers sich auf den Weg nach Berlin machten. Es war die allererste erste Übung des 28 Amphibious Engineer Regiment / 71 Amphibious Engineer Support Squadron in Berlin.Der „BERLIN BULLETIN“ berichtete über diese Demonstrationsübung am 12.07.1991. Ich bin gespannt, ob sich jemand daran erinnert und vielleicht noch weitere Bilder und Informationen dazu hat.
