Vor ein paar Wochen erhielt ich eine Anfrage von Herrn Horn bezüglich des Wappens der 65 Corps Support Squadron! Bis zu dem Tage wusste ich nicht das die 65 CSS im Jahr 1975 den Flugplatz in Höxter gebaut hat! Dort steht auch ein Erinnerungsstein, der an die Royal Engineers aus Hameln erinnert! Haute erhielt ich von Herrn Horn die Zeitungsartikel über den Bau und die Einweihung des Flugplatzes! Herr Horn kost auf dem Flugplatz der Flugleiter und kümmert sich gerade darum, das der Gedenkstein wieder erneuert bzw. restauriert wird! Meinen Respekt dafür und ich denke auch die ehemaligen Kameraden der 65 CSS werden ihm das danken, das Ihre Einheit nicht in Vergessenheit gerät!

A few weeks ago I received a request from Mr. Horn with respect to the coat of arms of the 65 Corps Support Squadron! Until the day I did not know that the 65 CSS built the airfield in Hoexter in 1975! There is also a memorial stone, reminiscent of the Royal Engineers from Hameln! Today I received from Mr. Horn, the newspaper article about the construction and inauguration of the airport! Mr. Horn costly at the aerodrome, the flight leader and just take care of it, which is again renewed and restored the memorial stone! My respect for it and I think the former comrades of the 65 CSS will thank him, that does not get your unit into oblivion!
