2015/07/18 – 1st Reunion after closing the Gates – Boattrip on the Weser!

Ein Jahr ist vergangen, die Tore der Kasernen in Hameln sind geschlossen, auch die Fahrzeugparks sind geschlossen, aber trotzdem kommen sie alle wieder! Hameln ist und bleibt der Standort für die Royal Engineers! Für mich war es eine Ehre heute auf dem Ausflugsdampfer mit dabei zu sein und ein paar Fotos und das Gruppenbild nach der Dampferfahrt zu machen! Tolle Gespräche konnte ich dabei führen und habe einige Informationen erhalten und ich hoffe Ihr alle werdet mich weiter bei meiner Webseite über die Britische Armee in Hameln unterstützen um die Erinnerung aufrecht zu erhalten! Die Dampferfahrt ging vorbei am ehemaligen Wouldham Camp an der Ohrschen Landstraße und auch am Ohr Park den viele noch in Erinnerung hatten!

One year is gone after the gates are closed also the vehicle parks are all closed! But nevertheless they all come back to hamelin the town of the pied piper! For me it was an honor to be with you on the boat to take some photos there and to took the group photo after the boat trip! Talked to many of you and I loved to hear your stories about your time her around hamelin! And I hope you will give me all time the support to keep all your memories alive on my website! Two places, Wouldham and Ohr Park were very present in the minds of the Engineers on the boat!
